Job Description

About the Position

We are seeking an expert Machine Operator who has worked within the Maritime, Rail or Supply Chain industries and has operated Reach Stackers and Container Handling Forklifts.

We are willing to work with you to obtain your QLD Assessors Accreditation to provide training and assessment services on this equipment at our facilities in SEQ and at our client’s premises.

The following is Mandatory for this role.

  • Must hold current QLD HRWL Licences (High Risk Work Licence) or be prepared to convert Interstate HRWL over to QLD for
    • RS (Reachstacker)
    • LF (Forklift)
  • Must have industry experience and be able to provide evidence of currency within the past 2 years’ operating Reach Stackers and Container Top Lifters within the Maritime, Rail or Supply Chain Industries.
  • Are prepared to make an application (we will assist) to Worksafe QLD to become an Accredited Assessor.
  • Have a genuine passion for training and a desire to pass on your years of experience to the next generation of operators.

The following is highly desirable but NOT mandatory - if you have any of the below, we can assist you, you're still eligible to apply! 

  • Additional HRWL classes sought:
    • WP – Elevating Work Platform over 11m
    • LO – Order Picker
  • Have had experience operating Container Straddle Carriers.
  • Hold or are willing to obtain (we can help you)
    • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or; TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:
      • either TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A, and
      • either TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B

Desired Skills and Experience

A bit about you...  

  • Possession of, or ability to possess a Blue Card and pass a National Police Check
  • Hold the relevant accreditations with WorkSafe Queensland relevant to the HRW licence class conducting training and assessment in.
