About the Role...
This is a rare chance to step into one of the most influential operational leadership roles in the Australian employment services sector and to do it alongside an exceptional leader who will genuinely invest in your success.
Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager of BUSY Ability, a highly experienced, commercially sharp and deeply people-focused leader known for her clarity of vision, sector expertise and authentic investment in her team, you will hold accountability for end-to-end operational performance across our national and New Zealand employment services portfolio.
This includes Workforce Australia Specialist (Ex-Offender), Inclusive Employment Australia, and Welfare that Works, Community Job Coaching (NZ). You will lead a team of Operational Managers, drive service quality and contract compliance, manage financial performance, and actively contribute to the growth and innovation of the division.

Desired Skills and Experience
A bit about you...
5+ years’ senior management experience in Employment Services or a comparable government-funded environment.
Multi-site operational leadership with a track record of meeting KPIs and contractual obligations.
Strong understanding of Workforce Australia, DES or comparable program frameworks.
Commercial acumen: budget oversight, workforce management and financial reporting.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement across Government, funders and community partners.
A leadership style that builds capability, accountability and cultures people want to stay in.
