About the Role…
Jobs and Skills Centre (JSC) Service Providers provide a “one-stop shop” to support individuals and businesses to build a skilled workforce. JSC’s operate as a State-wide network providing outreach services to business and the community. The JSC Coordinator is the linchpin in working to create opportunities and build strong relationships with local industries and employers. They will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the JSC and facilitate training and assessment needs to create sustainable employment outcomes.
This role is full time, fixed term until 30/6/27 with possibility of extension and based servicing Broome.
So, what does a typical day look like?
Coordinate access to quality career, training and employment advice across the State
Coordinate and facilitate services to a diverse range of clients including school leavers, job seekers, mature-aged career changers, migrants, First Nations Australian job seekers, care leavers, employers and industry
Liaise directly with emerging and established local industries and employer groups
Collaborate with TAFE to plan and deliver the service, our extensive local connections in employment, education and training to identify and develop bespoke programs and services to meet the needs of the local community

A bit about your experience…
Minimum Cert IV Career Development or willing to achieve the qualification within 12 months of commencement.
Have a strong understanding of labour market and socio-economic issues in the region, together with familiarity with applicable employment and training related programs and services
Have an ability to establish strong networks with a range of stakeholders including employers, schools, training providers, government agencies and the local community
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
