Job Description
A bit about the role…
The BUSY Group is contracted to deliver ADF Transition Support Services, with the primary purpose of this role being to guide and support Eligible Australian Defence Force (ADF) Members through one of the most significant transitions of their lives - from military to civilian life.
This position provides tailored planning, implementation, and monitoring of transition activities, ensuring each member receives comprehensive support. Working closely with transitioning members, the role offers advice on career pathways, upskilling and training opportunities, and referrals to relevant services across education, health, and community sectors. It also involves researching and identifying support providers from existing and/or local information sources.
From notification of transition through to full civilian integration, this role ensures a seamless and empowering transition experience for each ADF Member.
This role is permanent full time, based in Canberra. This role is due for immediate start.

About you…
Role Requirements - highly preferred having one of the following;
Demonstrated case management experience or previous experience in a careers advisory role is essential, preferably including skills with defence personnel.
Well-developed interpersonal skills (including building rapport, listening and interviewing), and ability to research and write clear Career Plans.
Demonstrated high-level ICT skills particularly the use of the Microsoft suite of programs.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply guidelines, administrative procedures and processes
Experience and/or confidence with group or public speaking.
Program Requirements - all mandatory;
Must have one of the following:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the employment services industry or community services sector;
Cert IV in Career Development (or similar);
Minimum 4 years full-time ADF service in the preceding 5 years.
Must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
Open drivers license
