About the Role…

The Clean Energy Coordinator role is responsible for the day-to-day management and direction of BUSY At Work’s “B Green” specialist Australian Apprenticeships Support Services (AASS) contract and staff. This position is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to Australian Apprentices entering Clean Energy occupations and focused on fostering business relationships promoting and advocating for the benefits of the Clean Energy sector. 

This role is full time, fixed term until 30/06/2026 with possibility of extension, based anywhere in QLD or NSW with the ability to travel when required throughout the state.

Desired Skills and Experience

A bit about you...

  • A trade qualification or demonstrated experience working within the Clean Energy sector (or associated industries) will be highly regarded
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • An extensive understanding of the clean energy renewables sectors, including knowledge of emerging technologies, job opportunities, industry trends, and skill requirements
  • Familiarity, with Australian Apprenticeship programs, including apprenticeship pathways, training providers, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining business relationships with a range of stakeholders, but with a particular focus on Unions, Industry Bodies and Employers at all levels. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strong leadership qualities such as communication, development and monitoring of KPIs, collaboration, and resource allocation are essential
  • Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check/Blue Card and National Police Check
